Description
Green stole, gold thread woven into green background, by machine. Faded orange or beige backing; gold-colored fringe. This vestment was brought by Father Nerinckx from Europe about 1820. It was sent to China in 1946 when Sisters Florentine Greenwell, Matthew Geraghty, and Carlos Marie Lubeck went there. It was brought back with the Sisters on their expulsion from China during WWII c. 1952. Part of set with a chasuble.
