Description
Wood lap desk, metal hinges, latches, and lock; inlay cross inside lid; three compartments on interior, with three drawers below lid. One wood cylinder inside desk. This desk was made in Flanders of East Indian wood and belonged to Father Nerinckx. The interior provides space for carrying paper, pens, replaceable nibs, and items for making ink.
