Description

Latin altar card, used for festive occasions, early 20th century. Framed in dark wood with red velvet and metal (silver/pewter) leaf-shaped corner decorations. The Sacred Heart of Jesus is painted in the center, above the Latin version of the beginning of the Gospel according to John the Evangelist. Text at bottom indicates it was printed by Benziger & Co.
