Description
Mother Bridget Hayden’s habit rosary, wooden beads, 48” long. Mother Bridget Hayden served Osage Mission, KS, from 1847 until her death in 1890. In 1930, “after 40 years in the grave, her skeleton was found to be in a most perfect state, with not a bone out of place and her habit intact and clean." The 14 Sisters of Loretto were moved from the convent cemetery back of St. Ann’s Academy to St. Francis Cemetery, St. Paul, KS.
