5-decade rosary, empty silver reliquary crucifix and silver "M" on metal chain with silver and red Sicilian coral beads. Center bead in chain is a larger, white-red bead. These beads belonged to Rev. William J. Howlett (1847-1936), who was chaplain at the Loretto Motherhouse from 1931 to 1936. They were given to him in 1874 by Sr. Bridget Howlett, one of his seven paternal aunts who joined the Presentation Order in Ireland, and may have been a family heirloom.
