Sunbonnet, white fabric with printed blue floral pattern. Made by Sr. Susan Swain, SL (1945-2012), to use as part of teaching Loretto history. The earliest headcoverings worn by Sisters of Loretto were sunbonnets. During her teaching career, Susan worked in Kansas City, MO, and in the area of Denver, CO.
