Description
Ivory crucifix in an ivory reliquary. Labeled "N.M." in red ink on the bottom. This belonged Nellie Morgan, who became Sr. Clare, the sixth member of the Congregation. She was received on August 12, 1812, at the age of 35; her final profession was August 15, 1813; and she died on January 4, 1834, at Gethsemani, KY.
Identical to the ivory crucifix found in Fr. Nerinckx's trunk in the chest with his relics, 11/5/2018, which still has the cross on top and is labeled "C.N." on the bottom.
