Description
Rosary with brown wood beads and a gold-colored statuette of Madonna and Child. This rosary belonged to Mother Mary Rhodes. The first three beads were Sr. M. Joanna Walsh’s c. 1829-1910. Mother Mary Rhodes, one of the three foundresses of Loretto, was the second Superior General or “Dearest Mother” from 1812 to 1822. She died in 1853.
