Trade beads from Ghana. Packet consists of 31 total objects. 21 individual glass beads, one blue medallion and one brown ovoid bead, the other beads cylindrical and in various sizes and colorful patterns. 5 strands of beads on raffia, string, or nylon: two strands of herringbone-shape beads, one dark blue and one aqua blue (similar to #1306); three strands of multicolored, multipatterned cylindrical beads. These may have been extra beads but do not exactly match what we have as complete necklaces. Given to the Heritage Center by Sr. Marie Ego, SL.
