Painted china bowl that belonged to Loretto Academy in St. Louis, MO, in the early 20th century. Rose and gold exterior with gold interior. White scroll on inside with "Loretto Academy" in gold; gold-colored, intertwined capital A and M (Latin for “Ave Maria" or “Hail Mary”) in center on pink background. Part of lavabo set, used at Mass, with #0631a. Maker's mark on bottom, for Haviland & Co., Limoges, France.
