Description
Round brown ceramic ashtray, painted with the image of a sun with a face radiating abstract motifs. Made by members of a ceramic co-operative on the Bolivian Altiplano. The symbols of sun, earth, and fertility come from monoliths found in the ruins of Huancane, a Tiwanaku site near the co-operative.
