Pair of identical double-sided vases, painted pink on one side and purple on reverse, with floral images and gold handles and rims. Signed on bottom by Sr. M. Cornelia Worthington and dated 1894.
Sr. M. Cornelia Worthington, SL (1859-1928), was born near St. Louis, MO, and attended the Academy at Florissant, MO. She entered Loretto and became a teacher and Superior in many of the Loretto schools. In 1894, she was teaching at St. Mary of Loretto Academy in Montgomery, AL.
