Description
Needlepoint tapestry of Holy Face, browns, cream, blue, with red background. Found in 1923 in old house of the Sisters at St. Paul, KS, found beneath a picture of Fr. Schoenmakers, SJ. The tapestry was probably made by Mother Bridget Hayden (1814-1890), who did much of this kind of work.
