Description
Leather-bound book in Latin, “Manuale Ordinandorum, complectens," with gold decoration on spine. Printing date of 1782. This book belonged to Bishop Guy Chabrat (1787-1868). When Father Nerinckx left for Missouri in June 1824, Father Chabrat was appointed ecclesiastical superior of the Sisters of Loretto. It was during this time that the Sisters moved from St. Charles Church to St. Stephen’s Farm.
