Description
Multi-stranded necklace made of glass or plastic beads of various sizes, colors, and designs, ending in a short woven pattern of black, white, and red seed beads with strands of the same type of beads hanging down. Brought back to Loretto from a participant in Loretto's 1976 Third World Experience Program. Both Sr. Agnes Ann Schum and Dorothy Ortner, CoL, were in East Africa for this program; based on Sr. Agnes Ann's memory, it was more likely Dorothy who brought back this necklace. Dorothy was in Tanzania for her Third World Experience.
