Based on the book of credits for Loretto Academy, Celeste Condon (1896-1997) attended the school from fall 1910 through spring 1914. Besides the typical curriculum, at times she took lessons in piano, painting, fancy work, and plain sewing. Celeste was born in Knoxville, TN. She married Mortimer Grinnell Thompson, Sr. (1897-1935) in 1920 and had two children, including Mortimer Grinnell Thompson, Jr. (1928-2018). Celeste is listed as a social worker for the Red Cross in the 1940 census.
