Description
Green glass bottle, cork stop, covered with piece of beadwork with geometric design in white, yellow, blue, black, red, and green. Brought from Africa (probably South Africa) by Sr. Elaine Satterwhite, SL. Sr. Elaine Satterwhite (1934-2018) took two brief sabbaticals to South Africa, in 1986 and 1996, to study African music and the social effects of apartheid and racism. She also taught for the 2001 school year at the University of Fort Hare in Alice, South Africa.
