Description
2013 Call To Action Leadership Award, presented to the Loretto Volunteers on November 3, 2013. Black metal stand with circular, colored enamel piece by artist Anne Goddard, with images of open hands, a dove in a sunburst, and a lit candle, backed with black foamboard. A silver metal plaque on the base of the stand states the award, and another is inscribed "Call To Action honors your commitment to social justice, your value of community, your model of simplicity, and your leadership that calls everyone to act for justice and peace." Call To Action is a Catholic organization that encourages lay Catholics to take action for reform in the Church.
