Carved wood statuette (a) of Mary and the child Jesus, in a cylindrical wood case (b). Red wax stamp on back of statuette. Labels indicate it belonged to Fr. Nerinckx and was carried by Mother Praxedes Carty in her pocket starting in 1896 (the year she became Mother General).
