Plaster statue of the Blessed Mother, standing, holding the Christ Child. Clothing painted gold; exposed skin painted in light tones, with hair and facial features. Painted on top of base: "Miraculous Statue, Father Nerinckx / painted H.F. Sears 1932. / To Bethlehem [Perry County] MO 1823 / To Loretto from the Cape [Girardeau, MO] 1923." Referred to in one historic document as a statue of Our Lady of Prompt Succor.
