Description
Silver spoon engraved "SML" on handle. "ML" stands for "Mary Loretto" and was recommended by Fr. Nerinckx as a marker on all of the Sisters' material goods, indicating the poverty of sharing everything.
Sr. Anthony Mary Sartorius, SL, owned two Loretto silver spoons in the early 1980s and was going to dispose of them. Sr. Eleanor Craig, SL, took them instead and used them daily until 2018 (see also 2018.014.001).
