Description
Hooked rug figure, Pakistani woman in a pink and blue traditional dress (salwar kameez) carrying a pot on her head. This was made by three Pakistani Sisters of Loretto during their recreation time as novices in St. Louis. Their mentor was Sr. Sue Rogers, SL. Written on the back of the frame is "A Gift to Novitiate House & Sue From [name] / Maria / Samina". These three Pakistani women became vowed members in 2005; one was later dispensed from her vows.
