Wood plaque with red velvet front and a metal plate in the shape of a scroll, with a heart design containing three young children and “Fe y Alegria." The plate is engraved in Spanish: "Fe y Alegria Bolivia / A La Hna, Eva Maria Salas Y A La Congregacion De Loretto Al Pie De La Cruz, En Senal De Aprecio Y Gratitud. / La Paz, Julio De 1992" (Faith and Joy: Bolivia / To the Honorable Eva Marie Salas and to the Congregation of Loretto at the Foot of the Cross, as a token of Appreciation and Gratitude / La Paz, July 1992). Fe y Alegria is the Jesuit-coordinated movement to which the Loretto school in La Paz was transferred in 1972 (see "Naming Our Truth" p. 105-107).
