Holy water font from the convent chapel in Highland Park, IL, stainless steel wall mount with small gold cross and removable steel bowl. Accompanying note: "My cousin Lillian Rogan purchased the font after the convent was sold to the parish – then gave it to me. / Sister Jean Louise Rafferty."
Sr. Jean Louise Rafferty, SL (1907-2002), was a native of Highland Park, IL. She spent most of her years of service teaching in the upper elementary grades and often as principal of the Loretto-staffed schools. She spent a year in Canada at the urging of Sr. Pat Denny, SL.
